The inaugural CloudNativeSecurityCon (CNSC), hosted by Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF), is happening February 1st and 2nd in Seattle, Washington and our team is excited to participate and support this event.

As more organizations shift from traditional IT infrastructures to the cloud, security has risen as a top topic for cloud-native environments. The creation of CNSC is evidence of the interest in this topic.

Through the empowerment of developers and DevOps teams with open-source projects under the OpenClarity suite and Panoptica Cisco’s cloud-native application security solution, organizations can secure their Kubernetes, APIs, and serverless functions. These tools automate the software development lifecycle management, simplify connectivity and observability, and help you succeed from build pipelines to workload runtimes. Connect with us at the event to learn more about how these open-source technologies are the foundation for our modern application development portfolio.

During the event, we offer many options where you can learn more about securing your cloud-native infrastructures:

About OPENClarity

OpenClarity is a suite of open source tools for cloud-native security and observability—APIClarity, KubeClarity, and FunctionClarity. These open source technologies are the foundation for Cisco’s cloud-native application security platform, Panoptica.

FunctionClarity provides a framework to sign and validate cloud function core artifacts (images or code) with various signing techniques including keyless (utilizing the cosign/sigstore project).

KubeClarity is a tool for detection and management of software bills of materials (SBOMs) and vulnerabilities in container images and filesystems. It scans both runtime Kubernetes clusters and CI/CD pipelines for enhanced software supply-chain security.

APIClarity, an open source cloud native visibility tool for APIs, utilizes a service-mesh framework to capture and analyze API traffic, and identify potential risks.
